We are proud supporters of the Armed Forces Covenant in the United Kingdom, a promise by the nation to ensure that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. Venterra has pledged to uphold the principles of the Covenant and demonstrate our commitment to the Armed Forces community.
Venterra was proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2021, solidifying our commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families. This included active recruitment efforts to help ex-servicemen and their spouses transition into careers in the energy sector, recognising the valuable skills they brought. Our commitment extended to promoting awareness of the Covenant and participating in national events, while providing opportunities for career development and family support, ensuring that the offshore wind industry remained a 'forces friendly' sector.

Journey from military to civilian life: David Robinson, Project Manager
David Robinson joined Balltec when he left the Armed Forces to work in the Projects Department. Now a lead Project Manager, we caught up with him to talk about his role and find out more about his experience transitioning from the military to the civilian workforce.

Organised by Mission Motorsport and Mission Renewable, the National Transition Event 2025, held at Silverstone, provided an excellent platform to showcase our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and demonstrate the exciting opportunities available in the offshore wind sector for ex-service personnel.
